In this film we take a look at a housing project by Andreas Martin-Löf Arkitekter, completed in 2014. The project was an attempt to create low-cost housing for young people by using off-site prefabrication techniques. All apartments consists of a prefabricated module on 32 square meters, designed for single-person households. Altogether it is 124 units interposed in four concrete structural systems, forming a city block. The buildings are interconnected by external corridors covered by translucent plastic.
In 2015 the architect Andreas Martin-Löf was elected “the architect of the year” by Residence magazine.
The voices in the film are from interviews with the residents.
